KEEP OUR FIELDS CLEAN!

Our teams have been provided with garbage bags to clean up the sidelines after the games.  PLBSA has a very good reputation for leaving home & away fields clean!  Many of the fields our teams play on are schools and churches...in order to have permission to play on these fields we have to keep them cleaned up.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

Friends & Family

This letter is to inform you of transitions within the Plain Local Baseball & Softball Association Board of Directors.  After five years as PLBSA President I have stepped down effective the end of the season / our July 9th Board meeting as President of the League.  The time has come for fresh energy and new leadership to continue the growth and positive momentum of the League.  My team is 13 this year and will only have one more season of Hot Stove before many of them will be trying out for their high school teams.  The timing will allow me to allow me to remain on the Board at least for one year to help ensure a smooth transition.

I am very happy to announce that the Board elected Lisa Allison, former Closed League Girls Softball Director as President at our June meeting effective 7/9/08.  Lisa has done a fantastic job tackling the challenge of merging the Holly Hills girls softball teams in with our Plain Local teams, is extremely organized, and will bring a fresh passion and drive to the League.  I am extremely confident that Lisa will continue and increase the positive momentum and growth of the League for all of the boys and girls in Plain Township.  Lisa may be reached at 330/919-BALL.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for all of your help and many hours volunteered which have ensured Plain Local Baseball & Softball Association’s success over the last five years.  I look forward to continuing to see all of you around the baseball and softball diamonds.

R. Glenn Richards

Assistant Hot Stove Director
